K E Brown was established over 60 years ago and has grown to be the leading supplier of low voltage electrical switchboards for use in both light and power distribution and motor control applications. The company has achieved success over the years due to its strategy of being the "partner of choice" for its clients and the "employer of choice" for its people.

K E Brown clients include a wide cross-section of builders, consultants and contractors and it has delivered product into every state and territory in Australia. The company operates from two sites in the Sydney metropolitan area specialising in the manufacture of custom-built switchboards and modular switchboards.

K E Brown employs more than 70 people from electrical apprentices and skilled tradesmen, to project engineers and supervisors, to management personnel thereby giving it the full spectrum of skills amongst its team members. The company prides itself on being a market leader in its approach to areas such as quality management and occupational health and safety.
